Portage Town Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on June 10, 2025, at 5:30
p.m. at the Portage Town Hall, 25880 North 9000 West, regarding the amendment of
section 115.0 (Land Use)of the Town of Portage land use ordinance. We are adding AN
ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TOWN OF PORTAGE LAND USE ORDINANCE
TO ESTABLISH A SCHEDULE OF PERMITTED, CONDITIONAL, AND
PROHIBITED USES; TO RESTRICT CELLULAR TOWERS, COMMERCIAL WIND
ENERGY SYSTEMS, SOLAR ENERGY FACILITIES, DATA CENTERS, BATTERY
ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS, AND CERTAIN UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE TO
COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICTS; AND TO PROVIDE FOR
RELATED DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS the ordinance is available at the Town Hall
for review. All interested citizens are invited to attend at the Portage Town Hall, 9000
